In December of 1999 L-Z Truck Equipment was given "Full Ship Thru" status by Ford Motor Corporation for Ford Rangers built at the Twin Cities Assembly Plant in St. Paul, MN.

In March of 2007 that capability was expanded to include Ford F & E Series Trucks and Vans.

Ship Thru upfitters have met the most stringent requirements of vehicle manufactures pertaining to processes and quality.

The main benefit of Ship Thru units are the quality & uniformity in the build process. The vehicle is usually delivered by rail, therefore adding no mileage to the unit, but could be driven to the final destination if required.

L-Z provides all of its fleet customers with up to the minute status of the vehicles and equipment via a spreadsheet that is emailed or faxed.

Vehicles stored at L-Z are in a paved, fenced area and are covered by insurance. L-Z has vehicle storage capabilities for thousands of trucks.

Vehicles in many cases are "pooled" at our location in a completed condition so they can be shipped within 24 hours to a customer.
